Describe the incident that resulted in your ban
My ban was 2054 days, or almost 6 years ago, so while I can't remember exactly what happened. I do remember 12 year old me pretending to be a trade bot in the good ol' HG server and like trying to convince people I was an automated bot (bots were not nearly as common then) and I'm sure I thought it would be cool. Or maybe I was pretending to be a girl, which I also used to do a lot because I was 12 and that's just what 12 year olds do. Maybe I impersonated an admin? I literally don't remember, but I know for a fact that I pretended to be some stupid trade bot on the HG server so I'm assuming thats what the ban was. Either way, I truly don't really remember how scamming anybody ties into this, but seeing as it says "intent" I don't think I actually got away with anything which is pretty funny. I even tried to appeal this ban like 5 years ago, but I was denied, so I just kinda accepted it and moved on. Now, I will admit since this is turning into a story of my early tf2 days, after trading up to an unusual the legit way, I did trade up to an unusual the not legit way. I used this website that would show everybody's items in a server, and then I would shark new players for their hats. I'm admitting this because I know that I am a different person and at this point, it just makes me laugh. I look back pretty fondly on those times lmao. Yes, I admit it, 6 years ago I sharked like 20 people, sue me. I'd like to think that I've changed since those times, I got a girlfriend, got laid, and actually lived life outside of my room. But thanks to corona, I'm back baby!

Due to my wonderful new life in quarantine, I can finally return back to tf2. When I went on marketplace.tf to buy some hats because I'm getting back into the game and well, you can't play tf2 without hats, I was unable to check out! I was super confused and submitted a support ticket and everything, and then they reminded me about my SteamRep ban. So here I am trying to get my ban repealed so I can buy some hats on marketplace.tf. That's literally the only reason. All of my alt accounts got banned too which is honestly some pretty good investigation on SteamRep's part. I didn't even realize I had so many, and I don't think I ever tried to scam anybody playing on those but whatever, I don't even remember the passwords so don't even bother unbanning them. I have no evidence and no screenshots, I'm not even saying I'm not guilty of whatever it was I did. Maybe deep in the HG archives there will be some file with my name on it, if it exists, please share! I'm not really sure what to say because I'm not 100% sure what I did, just that I want to buy some hats and in order to do that I have to get unbanned. Haha. Here's something else funny, I used to have a tf2 youtube channel and I guarantee that some of the people here have seen my videos. This was a while ago and they're all unlisted. But I had a few trading series, and I made "The Stupidest and Funniest Trades in TF2", which got a fair amount of views. If anybody remembers me as Tal1z, let me know that would be be sickkk. Anyways, enough rambling. On to the next box!

If your appeal is granted, what steps would you take to prevent a similar incident in the future
I would never even imagine trading anymore, keys are like 50 ref... what???
Like I said, I just want to buy some hats.

 

Oooooh update I found my old appeals. Theres 2 of them! Looks like I impersonated an admin and asked for key donations. Thats pretty stupid to be honest.
