Do you have any previous Admin experience, if so, where and when?
Several years back, I owned Minecraft and Terraria servers, but both of those died off after a while. I have no other admin experiences.

What ideas or skills can you bring to the table?
Idea-wise, I think there should be a set of protocols for moderators/admins to follow when running the server. Mainly, they should do AFK-checks on a regular basis, so other players can get on the server. There's usually at least 5 or more idle people in each spawn, which really skews their playtime ranking in the server and prevents potentially new players to join. For staff members that are idle, there should be a way to announce this to the server, so no one thinks they can depend on them for help immediately. Also, when hosting events, the staff member running it should turn off donor commands, so no one is kicked during the event and so the reserved slot is opened up for non-donors. I know staff members will sometimes do this, but I think it needs to be a more consistent practice.

Skill-wise, I am very responsible, and I will seldom forget to do something that is asked of me. I am also somewhat creative, so I come up with new ideas and improvements for the server pretty frequently.

Why do you think you would be a good staff member?
Whenever someone asks a question in the server, I try to answer them, even if I have to do some quick research online to give the correct answer. The questions people ask usually have to do with pricing, rules, or TF2 mechanics. Also, I have been trading for more than a year now, so I can give helpful trading advice to people who need it. I like to watch every single spycrab and heavybox that I can, which I will continue to do if I become a moderator, so I can make sure people follow the rules and don't run if they lose. I am very consistent with what I do and I don't hold grudges, so no one will ever get unfair treatment from me.

How much time can you spend per-day on the servers/forums?
An hour or so on weekdays, around 6 or 7 hours on most days of the weekend.

What do you think the current staff is doing right?
There is no other server I know of that hosts as many events as Harpoon does, which is both due to the staff's ability to host events and their willingness to do so. They handle cases of micspam, chat spam, and other forms of spam very well, and they seem to always be available (after a short wait) when they're needed. They also often watch heavyboxes and spycrabs to make sure they're done properly, which is always helpful. I love the freedom that players have otherwise.

What things do you think the staff, or Harpoon Gaming as a whole, could improve on?
The dependability of some staff members isn't the best. Often, when they're needed, they're either AFK or they don't see your question in chat. Also, I'm aware that people who run from spycrabs or heavyboxes are supposed to be reported on the forums, but many staff members seem to just ignore people who need help with such things. The staff also seems a bit too lenient on their administration. There doesn't seem to be any permanent or even long-term penalties for breaking rules, which explains why micspam is so common in the server. The rules could be a bit more strict.

I would also love to see more public events hosted by Harpoon, like more Highlander games and streams. I know Joe does some streams on the HG twitch, but they're few and far between, so if more people could stream on that channel, Harpoon publicity will be better. More servers would also be nice! I would love to be a moderator for the Unusual trading server that I heard is in the works.

Why do you want to be a member of the Staff?
I love the Harpoon community, and now I want to help run it, maintain it, and improve it. I want to give back to the community that I have been a part of for a year now, and I especially want to interact with its great staff members and the people in the servers/forums in a more meaningful way.

On the other hand, I also want to help implement the changes that I've suggested (or other changes if these aren't any good) and help people deal with problems in a more authoritative way.

Might I add that idling no longer gives you items due to a patch in early 2014? You have to move and accept the new item dialogue to receive another drop.
