Glad to hear it I do agree, Mac's are superior to Windows when it comes to all manners of actual work.
I like how four of your game shortcuts are covering the groins of TF2 characters. I will argue with you on this until I'm blue in the face and dead.
In terms of processing power in the majority of builds, yes, I agree. As a result of that, they do tend to outperform. Macs can't really be custom built. Though Mac monitors are infinitely superior to all Windows monitors besides 4k TV's.
Infinitely superior is really depending on who you ask, I personally rather have a 27" monitor at 1440p, 1080p or the like, rather that a 13 or 15 inch monitor. Noted, that the Mac has larger sizes, but if I'm paying that much, I could get 4K, or 1440p. The vast majority of consumers don't need images at that high of resolution, most content on a computer is rendered at 72ppi. Windows has advantages with Microsoft Office Suite, as well as the ability for custom builds. friendly for gamers, has typically more raw processing power. You don't need to trash it if one thing breaks. I'm a graphic designer, web designer and I do some video production, all things very popular with a Mac, instead I have a computer that can figuratively run circles around a Mac's processing power. For price, I prefer Windows extremely. Ultimately, I'm glad that Mac has a retina monitor, and I'm sure for some people it helps, but to me that's a minor selling point. Plus for most work, people use Windows. Creative design is what Mac is known for.
Images on the Mac Retina monitor look fantastic though. As someone who knows the value of good design, I would think that it's worth the extra price. A Windows computer can run circles around a Mac for power comparisons due to the high customizability of builds. Personally, my biggest con for Windows is the changes to the dammed start menu in 8. Forced me off onto a Mac for most things now.
It may be, but I still hate it because it doesn't give me the one-click links to my favorite applications and .exe's I pinned to the menu.
