Hi guys, my name is Eddy Fosman. I'm creating a video game that it has races like Halfling, Orc, Dwarf, Centaur, Mermaid, Elf, Titan... This is a free open resource, a non profit project for the community, therefore I don't want to pr or sell it. I've finished 30 Orc actions: I also started to create Titan's actions, so in the playable demo, I could demonstrate the gameplay of 3 different sizes (Dwarf, Orc, Titan) And this is first testing actions of Titan I really want to hear your opinions about this idea
I like the idea of this, but I feel as if the knockback from not so pushy and more slashy moves is a bit much. If you were to slash someone with a sword, they wouldn't really get knocked back, but more or less just get slightly dazed and have a delayed reaction of some sort.
Thank you! The main purpose when I started this project, is not just for entertainment, but also for education. In particular, it's a language learning system for gamers, and Japanese is the first language for learning in this game. I should use RPG elements to lure gamers for learning a new language. Before each round, gamer has to answer several quizzes. The quiz has form: What does X mean? and four choices. If a player answer right first, he will get bonuses like HP, DEF, ATK, GAUGE, MOVEMENT, special effect, extra skill... in the next round. If the answer is wrong, he will be punished. You could imagine, it's similar to Test Your Luck in Mortal Kombat 9, but instead of using slot machine (or dice roller), we use language quizzes to test your might and mind. You can read more about the concept here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=599564530 ------------------------ what kind of rpg maker are you using or are using and are you doing the coding/ scripting yourself? I'm using UFE fighting engine, and I'm a game programmer. ----------------------- Sounds cool! Id like to see what the dwarf is like! Yes, I will add more realistic force effects.
