SteamRep likely saw my account as an alternate due to an IP we shared, and banned me as well. I was found guilty of a ban on the site "Marketplace.tf", for chargeback fraud. The conditions of the ban I still do not fully understand, but I will take responsibility for the ban regardless; I should have been more aware of what was going on during the transaction. Please provide any evidence or information you wish to provide I felt it would be appropriate to write a fuller and more up-to-date appeal on the situation, given the amount of time that has passed since it's original occurrence. I originally submitted an appeal solely for the former of the two situations described ~2 years ago, which was recently finalized and declined on this passing Tuesday, January 1st, 2019 on the following grounds: " -Quoted from Eoj Charlie in the final post of my appeal thread before it was locked and archived. In terms of the first reason for my banning, I do still believe that I had no involvement in any actions my brother committed, and don't see how him having access to my account would be of much relevance, despite me only claiming he had brief access (within the span of about a minute, only enough to enable family sharing (and this was also much before the banning or scam occurred)), after which he never had access again. Regardless, I will do my best to prevent anything like this in the future; making sure he doesn't commit any more fraudulent actions like this one. For the second reason - the marketplace.tf ban - my opinion on the matter and reasoning is mostly explained above. I accept responsibility for it entirely. If a full unban is not justified, I would like a potential downgrade to a "caution" tag rather than a full ban. I believe the time that has passed between now and the fraud which took place is great enough to justify such action. I've easily learned my lesson after being severely limited by my ban for two years, and understand what I must do differently in the future. If your appeal is granted, what steps would you take to prevent a similar incident in the future I will take closer watch of transactions that take place between me and any other person/website. I will be more aware of any potential chargebacks taking place, and prevent them if they are not done on proper grounds. I will also watch myself and my brothers' actions more closely, ensuring nothing like this ever happens again.
