After evaluating what happened, I decided it was a stupid decision, and am happy to repay the 2 refined metal to the winner of the spycrab. The post that has the details on my ban can be found here: https://forum.harpoongaming.com/threads/76561198254302678-magikarp.33794/. Please provide any and all evidence Please add any miscellaneous information we should know Is there any private information you wish to provide?
I have offered to repay the victim, though he claims he has no interest in accepting the payment. Proof in the picture.
I have no interest in you getting unbanned because the only reason you want to repay me is to get unbanned. You had months to repay me, yet you only contact me now when it is inconvenient for you.
Then why did you only bother to try to repay me now, after you made your appeal and not months before?
After talking to Joe I decided to accept your payment so feel free to send me a trade offer (link is on my profile).
You were given the opportunity to pay back before you were first marked by an admin at the time. You refused then, why do you believe your appeal should be accepted?
As I said earlier in the thread, I was in a different mindset. A simple 2 ref gamble didn't seem significant to me at all, and whilst yes, I could easily have afforded to pay the victim, I didn't feel the need to as it was such a tiny bet. I've learned from what I did. I don't pose any threat to the community. I don't spycrab or gamble anymore at all. After I was scammed out of an £80 CS:GO knife, I can genuinely say I feel remorseful for the victim of any scam.
Though it's somewhat unrelated to the case, here's a screenshot from when I was scammed out of my knife. Taken the day it happened. If I recall correctly this occurred before I failed to pay the victim of the spycrab.
At the time, yeah. I had an alright inventory, and you had an inventory, so my logic was that it wouldn't matter. It sounds really dumb when you put it like that, but that's what I thought.
I appreciate all the time you're spending on the appeal, but I was wondering if you've come to any conclusion yet?
After careful consideration, I've decided to reduce your tag to a Caution tag. This sort of behavior is scamming, and any future action of the sort will result in a permanent tag. We will keep the caution tag there as a warning and as information. In 6 months, assuming you have no more reports or offenses, we'll consider removing the caution, please submit another appeal then (this does not guarantee removal). Please be more mindful in the future, and avoid carrying out any instances of fraud.
