Windows Explorer Windows 8.1

    I'm hoping one of the more computer literate people of Harpoon can help with this.

    Basically, at random intervals, my Windows Explorer decides to crash. I can restart it with my Task Manager, but that usually only fixes it for a few moments. Being a student, this is obviously a pain as I have to restart my laptop whenever it happens. This delays coursework being done amongst other things. If anyone can help, I'd greatly appreciate it.

    or you can downgrade to 7. I suggest you go with 10 considering they're still doing free upgrades.

    Everything I have heard about 10 has been compatibility issues and bugs. Nope.

    I had Windows 10 since the day of the release. I do agree that the day of the release it was a headache, but now Windows 10 runs great on my laptop. (Because of the new updates blah blah blah)

    Btw refer to this link. When my laptop started having this situation, I used this link, and yes it does say Windows Vista, but it does work for Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10, and if all fails refresh your computer. I had to do that about six times on the release of Windows 10. *Argh* Then finally I had to reset my laptop and all of my files were gone but luckily for external HHDs :D
