So there's a guy called [TradeBot] HedgeHog. He keeps spamming trade offers in CS:GO Lounge and on my Steam. He is also a heavy lowball that he wants to trade a $3.00 item for about $0.10 cents. I'm not the only one that reported him also. He is currently trade banned because of attempting to scam other people. His owner claims that I reported him for no reason and my account will get banned. The owner of this bot is igeligel. He is really rude and repeats the word "retarded" in his chat.

    My questions:
How to know someone is attempting to scam you? (Besides sending blank offers)
Can you remove a report that you have submitted on Steam? (Just in case, I'm not taking the report off of this bot.)
Last but not least, Can I report a bot for spamming offers repeatedly? (CS:GO Lounge and Steam)
I also read on the Terms and Conditions in CS:GO Lounge that one can report for spamming invites to trades and offers.
Thanks in advance for answering or reading my question.

    Question 1:
Aside from blatant adding, there are a few things one can notice about a person when they initiate a trade, those could be:
    • Low hours in the game relevant to the trade with high backpack value
    • Low hours in the game relevant to the trade in general
    • New account
    • Low Steam level (may be eliminated if the account is old)
    • Acts rather smart when negotiating, saying they knew alot about the trading community.
    • Lots of scammer friends (viewable on Steamrep)
    Question 2:
I believe so, if not. I'm certain you can leave replies, just forward Steam Support a response saying that the issue is no longer of concern and has been handled. Thanks.

    Question 3:
Well CSGOLounge and Steam are 2 completely different websites. Sending a report to CSGOLounge will likely offer a punishment for the offending user on their website. Sending a report to Steam will likely offer a punishment to the trade status of the offending user. What I recommend is that you report the user on Steam first as there is a much larger impact than reporting them on a single website. If the report on CSGOLounge goes through first, add the ban on CSGOLounge to the Steam report to add some sprinkles on the cupcake if you understand what I am saying.

If he's sending you stupid trade offers, block him. He won't be able to do so anymore. Sending empty lowball trade offers or offers with nothing on your side isn't scamming, it's just wasting someones time. I don't think you can remove a report sent on steam.
