Human Torch Middleman Scam

    So yesterday a guy added me saying he wanted to buy my hat (smoking medic cap) for $35 , and he said we could use a middle man. So he asked a guy name The Human Torch (http://steamcommunity.com/id/Slicer2D3500) and at first I was wary on if I should let him be the middleman, but then I saw he was a Harpoon Gaming admin. I gave him my hat, and the other guy who wanted to buy my hat sent the money ,or so I thought. Apparently Human Torch and the other guy (WAKA), were working together, and Human Torch was a fake middleman. After about 5 mins when I did't receive any money, I asked Torch how long it takes, then without answering my question, he deleted me.

    In conclusion, I realize i will not get my hat back, but what kind of admins do you guys have. I used to think Harpoon gaming was a top notch clan, but now my views have changed completely. Please do something and choose your admins/staff member better, because people like me might make the same mistake I did.

    Human Torch is not a mod on the Harpoon Gaming community. He used the tag to assist in scamming you. I'm sorry this happened to you, and hopefully it won't happen to anyone else but that seems highly unlikely. Next time, just to be sure, click on the Staff List button on the top left.

    I apologize this has happened to you. And I certainly understand your frustration. Human Torch was recently hijacked and as such we removed his powers immediately.

    We will do our best to investigate the matter and bring the guilty parties to face the consequences.

    Okay, I understand, wasn't a big loss for me anyways, considering it was a 1 bud hat, but I thought I would just let you guys know. Thanks anyways, and I hope he can get his account back.
