To help out some people who want to improve their gameplay for classes, post tips for different classes. One tip that I have for the Scout is when fighting a heavy, if you strafe left and right from him it makes it difficult for him to hit you, leaving it easy for you to kill him in 3 shots.
When playing as spy, disguise as a scout, you move just as fast as a normal scout would, it can get you out of some really tight spots.
I have a tip when playing Spy. When you want to get behind enemy lines, disguise as an enemy Spy with your knife out. This way, the enemy team will be fooled into thinking that you are actually a Spy on their team. Then, once you get behind everyone, disguise as a Sniper as they normally hang around the back of the map. Try as much as possible to keep your primary weapon out, as it will show to the enemies as your sniper rifle. Another great tool to use is this script: http://tf2.gamebanana.com/scripts/3530 With that script, you will automatically re-disguise after attacking. This is basically a YER, but with any knife. You could also press B, but this makes it much easier to kill undetected.
When moving toward the enemy team or trying to get behind them. Don't run to them face on. Run backwards as it looks like you are retreating or falling back to them and is more convincing than running straight toward them "Hey there don't mind me, I'm just passing through".
As a soldier, always aim at the ground while using the stock rocket launcher. If you hit at their feet, it will only do a little less than hitting them straight on and your more likely to hit them. DO NOT use the base jumper as it leaves you as an easy snipe target. Also, while rocket jumping around, if your speed jumping, when you want to reload, shoot a bit in front of you and that will send you into the air a little higher allowing you to reload another shot or two.
A tip for Snipers. Aim for the head! This can be rather difficult, and sometimes even impossible. Keep in mind that the enemies ping will greatly effect their head hitbox. Let me run you through a scenario. Let's say you are on a server and you have 60 ping. You are aiming for someone who also has about 60 ping. Now lets say they are strafing. You will want to fire where there head was just a second or less before. This may sound strange but it works! The higher an enemies ping compared to yours, the further back you want to aim.
A tip for playing as a medic. Calling for medic as a medic lets or alerts the other players on your team that there is a friendly medic (you) nearby.
as a demoman try using your pipes to fight more than stickies if you use stickies to predict things like soldier jumps or scout rushes you can have alot longer and more productive lives also when fighting a scout get you pipes out as fast as you can and strafe opposite of the scout its your best chance
As any Class. Tell your team that they don't need 5 Snipers/Spies. It makes you look like a bitch but Team Fortress is a Team Game. There are many different classes for a reason. Snipers are useless at close range (Unless You're @Thu or Spirit) and Spies are almost as readable as a book Surprisingly that is accurate. Yet so annoying
I found this rather helpful: Let's say your soldier loadout (mine) is the black box, the concheror, and the escape plan. You see a pyro coming rush through a corridor, heading towards you. The pyro is skilled and knows what m2 can do. He/she (Whatever the hell is the pyro's gender) reflects every rocket you shoot. Here are two tips that will help you out for a load out like this (without any sort of shotgun) Tip 1: Try jumping a lot and aiming at the pyro's feet. That makes it harder to airblast, and when they do, they reflect it on the ground. Tip 2: If you are in a really tight area, and killing the pyro seems impossible, go out into an open area, and shoot a rocket at your feet, causing you to rocket jump into the air, make sure to do this close to the pyro, making it impossible for him/her (whatever) to airblast it. The rocket jump will not only hurt the pyro a lot, but will give you a way to escape from the pyro. I hope you found these tips helpful, for they help me a lot!
Eww a Bad Box AND a conch? That's like the ultimate cruch. Those are good tips though. I use this strategy all the time. (not the loadout)
As an Engineer, I would strongly recommend that you use the gunslinger if you're going offensive engie. If you need crits in a hurry, use the frontier justice. Combine these two weapons and you have an engineer that's crit boosted and deploying sentries fast. It's very useful if you're on the offensive side (BLU team) on regular maps and you need to fight in combat with your teammates.
as the Texas Construction man (Engineer) use the rescue ranger, Wrangler and a level 3 sentry wrench on defence, This is how you can deal with ubers, if people are shooting at the sentry use the ranger, and have the wrangler's shied on at all times. This is known as the sigafoo save, named and created by a UGC platinum engineer. here's a video of said save defending against an ubered heavy.
That's a really nice video, I'm hoping to rack up some more points on my trusty wrench. I'll watch this video until I get into the UGC Platinum team
I recommend to do jumps aswell when being a Scout against Heavy, makes it easier to juke most of them.
