Unfortunately, the expression "luck" does not compute.

I found a penny in the road

 

So, here is a story...

It was actually a few weeks ago, I went hiking up some pretty high mountains in the north-east, and while walking along the mountain, I tripped over a log that was sticking out of the ground. I basically fell down and almost off the edge of the mountain. My iPod however, fell out of my grasp, and slid down the side of the mountain. It has a super-protective case, and I immediately made my way down to the bottom of the mountain.

Turns out, my iPod slid down, hit a couple tree branches, which broke it's fall partially. From there, it slid through the snow, until finally hitting the ground. I checked it, and surprisingly it was ok! The top part of it's case fell off somewhere down the mountain, and there was scratches at my case from the branches. I was really lucky!

Edit: Psshhhh, luck? Who needs luck? That was all skill, I timed that log perfectly there, making it look totally real. I timed that spot because I knew there was a tree to break my iPod's fall. That was ALL skill.

 

I could of done that with my LG phone, that doesnt have a case, and it wouldnt crack or break. This thing is like the Nokia's offspring

 

I have an LG phone too! It wouldn't crack either, and it doesn't have a case. They designed it so well, It's a wonder why people look down on them. FYI, I have a slide phone
