Simple. What is the best item you have unboxed. I guess mvm rewards count too. My best is Starstorm Insomnia Modest Pile of Hat, during halloween.
I've sadly never had any luck with unboxing in TF2 or CS:GO. However if we're also counting MVM rewards, I've gotten 2 Australiums! I got a Rocket Launcher on my 4th tour and a Stickybomb launcher on my 6th tour. A few questions for you, how many unusuals have you unboxed and have you kept your first one?
No unboxing or gambling luck ever (in tf2, csgo, or any other game which involves unboxing, crafting, or anything related)
Haven't had the luck to get any unusuals from unboxing nor australians from MvM. I completed the expert tour like 16 times or so but never got anything better than a diamond weapon MvM is still very fun though.
That might be due to the fact that the Australiums only drop from the Two Cities tour. Still, a diamond botkiller is pretty nice.
The official wiki says otherwise. "Australium weapons are a very rare classification of weapons introduced in the Two Cities Update. Similar to Botkiller weapons, they are unique reskins of specific weapons, and have a low chance to be awarded upon completing a full Advanced or Expert Tour of Duty in Mann vs. Machine mode."
I've only ever known them to drop in Two Cities, so that may be something that was introduced later on.
Australiums were originally only rewarded through the Two Cities tour, however they changed it later on so Australiums could also drop on other advanced and higher tours.
Yep. This was changed in December 2014. So australians can potentially drop on expert for a while now
Well ive unboxed one unusual and gotten one aussie. As i said before the Starstorm is the only unusual ive unboxed, sold it for a C9 Boxcar Bomber. But i kept the aussie, my sniper rifle
Honestly, I am not a big fan of the Australium weapons, which for someone who likes yellow and gold, you'd think is weird, right? I do have a reason though. Simply put, the gold on the Australium weapons is not a yellow-enough gold for my tastes. It's a bit of a darker shade than I like. I also think some of the gold weapons just look plain tacky to be honest.
