Sorry, I don't know the best place to put this so ill just put it in General.

Basically Ive always been able to play tf2 on this laptop, and now I cant play any server without having the absolute worst connection. No it's not my wifi, I checked that already. Did I turn my computer off and on again? Yes. Did I restart Tf2, steam, and my computer? Yes. I don't really know what to do or why it happened, if someone knows could you tell me?

    1. Have you checked to see if anyone is on another device and using any kind of streaming service?
    2. Depending on what provider you have, they could have changed your service type under your nose. (Comcast/Xfinity has a terrible track record for doing this)

Sorry if this was repetitive or useless. :p

Simple. Unplug router, plug it back in.
Check if somthing is try to acces the same port.
Generally wifi is bad for gaming. Try plugging your pc directly into your router with a CAT cord and see if it fixes anything.

You could try restarting the router or trying google, google usually has a lot of answers.

Ok, I want you to goto speedtest.net and do a quick test. Record your numbers and tell me here.
Try contacting your ISP maybe they have a reason for it being so bad.

It could be something as simple as temporary internet files and cookies clogging the computer up. Clearing them on a regular basis can help. Also, try verifying the game files through Steam and see if that fixes anything.
