I'm interesting in talking php, mysql, html, css or etc with anyone. I'm working on some of my own sites, including this one and I'm trying to hone my skills. And I'm happy to give advice to any newcomers.
Well Joe, I would like to learn coding but someone told me to just wait till I take a class instead of using a internet based coding teacher. Do you think this is a good idea? I want to learn as soon as possible but I'm not sure if it's better to wait or use the internet.
No, don't wait until classes. Teaching yourself is the best way to learn. There's books, websites and people out there and at the end of the day, trying stuff and screwing up but learning is all a part of the process. And earlier the better!
When i made my own website for the first time, you know the one in which you put "Hello world " i've been blown away,i went as far as to post pictures, create categories and layouts on different things, was pretty fun but coding in general makes you work a lot to fully master it,i would probably get into it if one day i can make an income out of it,as in assisting web developers or such.
I am really interested in coding myself. I tried starting with C++ (HUGE MISTAKE!!!!) and my friend who knows 5 coding languages told me to start with CSS... So that's what I'll do.
