So my headset is slowly coming to it's destruction due to the dog being rough with the surroundings (Knocking it off the stand that came with it) and I'm thinking of getting a new one. but what to Get I'm not too sure. I've got a budget of around $77 (£50) So I can't get a beastly one, but I sorta want one that will do me good for another long period of time. If anyone has any suggestions feel free to let me know here. I'm thinking of the Corsair 1500.
Have you gotten the new headset yet? If not, I think @Eoj Charlie could weigh in on why you should use that money to a Logitech headset.
@Escalfrio , http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-7-1-Channel-Surround-Sound-Headset/dp/B001O5CCQK That's the Logitech G35 7.1 Surround Sound, normally $130, it's on sale for $80 bucks, if you need it, I can chip in a few bucks for ya.
First off I hope you have yet to buy your new headset because then this entire reply is irrelevant but I am soon getting the Sennheiser HD 598s with a Blue Snowball Mic and pop filter. Getting a separate headphone and mic, while usually more expensive, does give extremely better audio and mic quality. The price of all of this is about 200 dollars which is about 50-100 bucks more than most gaming headsets (Depends on how muchyou are willing to spend on a gaming headset). For instance the Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma is a bit over 100 dollars and the SteelSeries Siberia Elite Prism, considered to be the best gaming headset in terms of quality to price is almost 200 bucks. At the same time you could save 10 bucks and get a modmic 4.0 instead of a blue snowball
