I'm really just grasping at straws here but does anyone know how I could contact any at valve or steam support or really anything else I can do to get my VAC ban lifted? I've already done the steam support thing and from past experience I know it will take about a week to get any response from them. I also know that more than likely they will just give me a robotic "We can't do anything about VAC bans" and I'll have to wait another week for another response. So if anyone has any ideas or suggestions please let me know.
You've already answered your question. You screwed up and they will not lift the ban under any circumstance. Make a new account like everyone else and if it is a paid game then you will need to re-buy it. Don't waste support's time by trying to get it lifted. There are people in need of help more than you. I have 7 steam account and play tf2 on 5 of them non of the other accounts are banned. I would like you to explain to me how I screwed up when I didn't do anything.
Yes but why was only one account banned when all the same programs/applications and files are on my computer. If VAC detected anything that is used for cheating why aren't the rest of my accounts also banned?
Why would I have something that could get me VAC banned running while I was on tf2? The only things I ever have running while on tf2 are Firefox, notepad++, Windows Calculator, Clicker Heroes, Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator or some random steam game.
I know it's a suckish thing to hack, but I kinda feel bad for those who made a mistake and wish for their accounts to be unbanned. I'm not talking about guys like MaxBox, they deserve to be banned. But it's like commuting a crime, your punishment reflects on how bad the crime was. MaxBox makes a living off hacking, other people, foolish, do it as well. I wish the anti cheat wasn't so strict. There are some good people out there who deserve a chance.
Well I wouldn't care if I actually did try to cheat or hack because that would have been my own fault. I won't let this go nor will I be making/using a new account to trade again. What I will be doing is trying non-stop to get the ban removed with any free time I have. I'll mail them a million letters if I have to.
Well there really is no other options left cause steam support doesn't do anything. Do you have any sources for that or is it just something you heard somewhere.
Just something i've heard, also a quote taken directly from steam forums: "Appeal denied. Your ban will not be lifted, regardless of whether your story is true or not. " It won't help to do this, they won't lift it, just like they haven't with other people in the past.
