I'm hoping to become a forum moderator at some point, primarily because I have too much time on my hands, but also because I would bask in the feeling of power like an engorged hippo. I will try to type this message in whateverthefuck this language is... Hellos and Welcomes, once I accidentally showed a bird who's boss and shot it and then it landed into a car, the car crashed and nobody cared. I would welcome you to the forums but a toucan took my sandwich.
Thanks booboo bear. I apologize for my deeply profound rhetoric, it's not for everyone unfortunately. So you do music and stuff?
I'm a professional musician IRL. I play so many instruments that it's hard for anyone to count without falling asleep. But I mainly play guitar, drum kit and piano. I've also got a degree in music and I'm working towards a doctorate in music.
Welcome. I am honestly not really sure what the actual fuck happened on this introduction. But I can tell it is probably something good.
Wow. Congrats man, that's awesome. What kind of guitar do you play? I'm really into acoustic stuff, but my pride and joy is my '58 Les Paul VOS Brunerth I was just trying to express myself. Where is the love? Where is it?
I got about 12 electric guitars and of those my 70s limited edition light blue strat, my original Gibson sg (fully restored) and my Gretsch white falcon stand out.
I'm looking to pick up a traveler acoustic, do you have any suggestions? I was looking at the Martin Backpacker and the mini Taylors. I'm a big Martin fan in general, I picked up one of their CEO jumbo acoustics a few months back. Just looking for something to take on camping trips and such. Btw that's a beautiful guitar. Gretsch electrics are fantastic, door handle whammy bars are best whammy bars. Also I'm a big fan of Frusciante, so thumbs up.
Pretty much any Taylor is good. They are very durable (unless you bring them on united airlines ) except for the really expensive models. My only acoustic is a custom Taylor made to be more like an electric, but still I can take it anywhere.
Yeah I'm a fan of Taylors, but I prefer Martins because of the deeper, grumbly sound. Most Taylors tend to sound a bit lighter and more poppy to me. But for a travel size, it probably really doesn't matter which brand I shoot for, they all sound roughly the same lol. Thanks for the input homie.
