Hello Everyone! There's a virus on Skype that sends your contacts a message with a link to normal site, for example: amazon, pinterest, twitter etc. But it is actually one of those suspicious looking goo.gl type of links. Here's an example. This is only a warning for people who use Skype.
That's confusing. Wouldn't the link be altered in someway? I understand there are IP Loggers and Java Driveby's but I don't think theres anything very concerning from that link. What happens when you click it?
The link shows as for example amazon.com but when you click it, it doesn't go to the amazon website, but it goes to the virus. But the easy way to see that it's a wrong link if it shows goo.gl when you have your cursor on top of the link.
Love those. Every time I start Skype up after being dormant for months I have/get 2-3 friend requests from them.
