I have explored lands far and wide, from oceans to mountains, to above the skies and below the Earth. I’ve explored alien worlds, and the depths of space. I’ve saved lands, nations and kingdoms and also brought them to ruin. I have killed monsters, madmen and good men alike. I’ve been rich, I’ve been poor. I’ve been an avenger, and I’ve been merciful. I’ve found rare treasures, and seen unbelievable sights. I’ve faced the apocalypse, and far worse horrors than your nightmares could ever imagine. I’ve raised armies and crushed them, I’ve sailed the seven seas searching for adventure. I have loved; I have lost, laughed and cried. I’ve been almost dead more times than I can count. I’ve seen good men, allies, friends, companions and lovers die, some of them even by my hand. I have braved the darkest dungeons, fought powerful wizards, demons and monsters. I’ve rebelled, I’ve led, I’ve conquered. I’ve been a killer in the shadows, and a hero of the ages. I’ve solved puzzles, riddles and political dilemmas. I have been famous and shunned. I’ve learnt magic, handled guns, swung swords and saved many a princess. I have been against the law and I have been the voice of it. I've been a soldier and a civilian, I have been innocent and I have been guilty. The very utterance of my name can inspire hope in the hopeless, or fear in the fearless.
