Ipad Mini charges too fast...

    So my Ipad Mini has been charging too fast and I think that it may have a problem with battery. My Ipod used to charge really fast but it would also lose a lot of battery power very quickly. I think my Ipad mini may have that battery problem too. Is there any way to fix it?

    Doubt it, how long have you had it for? Or maybe it's time to get a new battery for your iPad

    After awhile, the lithium battery starts to lose it's ability to hold charge, and so it charges faster because it can store less charge. I have an Ipod like that, and it can only stay off of the charger for about 30 minutes.
    This happens faster if you leave it plugged in too long. If it's fully charged, take it off of the charger.
    The longer it's plugged in while charged, the faster the lithium battery loses it's ability to hold power.

    I found a site that sells Apple and Android parts. I also found a video on how to replace my battery.

    FYI, you can preserve the life of your new battery by performing learning charge cycles every few months or so.
    Simply use your device to drain its battery. Once the device shuts down, leave it for a further 4/5 hours (Until pressing power no longer brings up the battery charge icon) - eg, the battery is completely drained.
    Reconnect to power and allow to fully charge without interruptions.

    Lithium Ion batteries run a lot of server hardware, I have one in my home server. They act as a backup for flash memory in case of a power failure. The controllers actually do this automatically every month in order to prolong the life of the battery, because they are in near constant use!

    Word of advice, to maintain a good lithium battery, never let your battery go under 30% in order for the same problem not to happen again.
