i crashed a MCraft server because of my Ping?

    my ping stays at 40 or less but i joined a mine craft server and it just sky rocketed to 987 and my screen froze and its said i was banned forever because my ping was so high. i was laughing my ass off :smuggrin::smuggrin::smuggrin::smuggrin::smuggrin::smuggrin::smuggrin::smuggrin::smuggrin::smuggrin::smuggrin::smuggrin::):):):):):):):)
