    Hey guys since i'm new here i just wanna throw in a little suggestion. We, The Harpoon Gaming Team, Should have a DarkRP server.
    That's right you heard me. A DarkRP server. Just think you guys it'll be magnificent. We'll have every TDM cars in the series and we can make the map be Rockford since it's very Popular but not alot of servers have it. So what do you say guys. Should the Harpoon Gaming team have a DarkRP server.
    Let our voices be heard DarkRP fans. Let the owners notice that we, The Community, should have a DarkRP server.

    your correct it is a Role-Play gamemode but instead of making up like a sonic RP. it basically copies Reality. Kinda how like you can get mugged in real life or someone can jack your car but ususally in DarkRP you'd have to advert that kinds of stuff but most servers don't do that. You can also Raid The PD, Take over the PD, Rob the Bank, or just Raid a base. You can also buy money printers, Guns, Ammo, And become jobs like gun dealers, Police Officer, and a Thief.

    I'm not a fan of Dark RP. And really, I'm pretty sure we don't have a strong enough grasp in the Gmod community to start one up.

    Honestly, our TTT server is almost always full. We could probably do it. However, Dark RP servers are extremely high maintenance, not sure if we have the staff / knowledge to start one.

    Personally, even DarkRP server I have ever gone into has a horrible community, horrible admins, and even more disrespectful owners. I despise DarkRP for what it is. I would rather not have one.

    well some DarkRP servers can be corrupt but some are perfectly fine and have a good community like -ICE- Gmod Community

    I played at on -ICE- community, and I'm very unimpressed...money grubby if you ask me.
    "$44 to be an admin" no thank you...

    However, I hope to make a DarkRP server /just/ we can try to make one that is decent.

    Now, i know this is a very old thread but ive been dreaming of a harpoon gaming dark rp server for a while. Dark rp is really just a collection of addons and a custom ui+script . Arround a year ago i had an interest in running one and i got preaty far, only problem was is i did not have anyway of hosting. I know alot of you hate DarkRP but its really not as big of a deal as people make it up to be. Ive played dark rp for arround 700+ hours and i believe it would be entirely possible for Harpoon gaming to have a DarkRP server.
