There has been a lot of debate about this, and seeing how this is a gaming community, (hence the name, Harpoon Gaming), I wanted to know your opinions. Personally, I believe that this form of media can in fact be art, regardless of it's interactivity. In fact, that should put it into it's own category.
The fact that you have to put countless hours into a video game to make it look good your basically fine tuning a work of art.

Not really a joke considering the definition might as well state that games are a form of art or at the very least comprised of many different arts.
