Hello, everyone. I particularly love this guy. He's basically the one who made me start painting and he still helps me sleep today. In this thread, I will lay down my favorite episodes of his show The Joy of Painting and also occasionally some paintings I made with his techniques, with little packages of documentation and photomontages along the way. You changed your name to that and I had no clue who you were on my friends list until I saw you on the forums. Took me about a week to figure it out. Only thing I've ever seen related to him though is the ERBOH between Bob Ross and Pablo Picasso.
He often says everything is his world is happy. I have no doubt about this. Once, he also dropped "if you want bad things, go watch the news". I love this guy.
It is indeed true. He often mentionned it in the show, and he even said that the landscapes of Alaska, where he was deployed most of the time, was his primary source of inspiration at the time. It even influenced his works in The Joy of Painting.
