Yeah, it was stupid of me. So here is the story, I joined in a trading server trying to sell some weapons, and this guy asks if anyone want to heavy box for a craft hat, so I told him "Yeah sure I'll do it", I was feeling lucky, but as soon as we started boxing I noticed that I was going to lose for sure, so I thought to myself "Ehh, I'll just leave, not a big deal." Evidently, it is a big deal. Now I am banned by Harpoon gaming. Please provide any and all evidence Well, here is the only evidence that comes to mind that I can provide (I uploaded it here) Please add any miscellaneous information we should know None that i can think of. Is there any private information you wish to provide?
I just want to add something that is currently on my mind... It feels awful being banned from trade servers; a thing that I took for granted, and because this is my first time ever being banned I now know one thing for certain, I am eternally scarred by this event and I will regret this for the rest of my TF2 life. I will never scam again, in fact I will try to be one of those Pro Anti-scammer people who look out for fellow players in trade servers who end up at the forefront of a scam, and I will probably never heavy box or spy-crab again in my life, for what it has brought upon me today.
Oh my god, I'm so sorry, I made this a server ban appeal... It is supposed to be a scammer tag appeal... wow, my bad guys. Sorry for the trouble.
I will not scam again, for I have learned the consequences of doing so, and will abide by the rules for the rest of my TF2 experience. The reason for my delinquency was all because of not knowing how serious a "bail" could be. Now that I have witnessed just how serious it is, I will take this as a lesson, and never scam again.
I know it might not matter now, but it is something I have been doing for a while. Not sleeping. I literally cannot sleep with myself knowing that a stranger had trust in me and then I ruined that trust. If my victim was young, and cried after my doing, I would probably shed a tear every night before bed knowing that I ruined somebodies day in such a way that it made them sad. Either way, just thinking about my victim having trust in me after his/her glorious victory, and then me leaving afterward just ruins my nights, and theirs -- no matter the age.
After careful consideration, I've decided to reduce your tag to a Caution tag. This sort of behavior is scamming, and any future action of the sort will result in a permanent tag. We will keep the caution tag there as a warning and as information. In 2 months, assuming you have no more reports or offenses, we'll remove the caution. Please be more mindful in the future, and avoid carrying out any instances of fraud.
