Steam Mobile Authenticator Problems

    Well... I feel like I'm bugging everyone for discussing my problems here xD, but anyways, my phone receives a 8 digit code I suppose and on all platforms (Windows, Mac, iPhone, etc.) only makes me enter about a 5 digit code. Steam is not accepting that code and I kinda need help D:

    Well, it should be glitching. Maybe use the first 5 digits?

    its only 5 digits. since I have mobile authenticator and it only take 5 digits to log into my main and main alt.

    Well, I did say it should be the first 5... I've never seen this glitch ever... So I'm not to sure.

    Well it sends me an SMS of a 7-8 digit code, but it makes me enter about a 5 digit code. I tried it many times and now it's telling me"Please wait a little before resending." I waited half a day and still the same thing. This crap is really annoying.

    if all else fails you can try making a phone number on your desktop and do it from that maybe just reset your phone

    Do you have the steam app? It has steam gaurd which gives you the 5 digit codes instead of using your phones number.

    Here's how I fixed the problem:
    *uninstalls crappy steam mobile*

    I nearly got locked out of my account when I enabled it because it didn't give me a recovery code and the code generator did not work at all.

    Yeah... I have the Steam app. I just got it working after leaving the app alone for two days and it started working and started sending me 5 digit messages and not 8. gg Volvo
