The strange festive variants of these two items go for 8+ keys; however, the ones he traded for are almost identical and worth under 1 key each. Even though he was scammed, he knowingly traded with a scammer alt marked by backpack.tf After he was sharked, he added me to discuss a trade for my pro ks rocket launcher (#4) . He offered the medigun, which I easily accepted thinking it was worth the ~9 keys he claimed. It turns out, the item was worth under a key. I am fine with the loss because of my mistake, but I am not fine with him attempting to shark other people with the scattergun on Harpoon All-Trade #3, which is why I am reporting this to you guys. Evidence: #1 https://backpack.tf/item/1392766729 #2 https://backpack.tf/item/517932714 #3 https://backpack.tf/item/5742473234 #4 https://backpack.tf/item/2552136417 #5 He even -repped the scammer on backpack.tf, knowing SPECIFICALLY what the items were worth, yet still tried to shark other people to gain his profit back. http://prntscr.com/ix7tx3 Miscellaneous Information: I do not have screenshots of chats between the accused and I. This is a blatant misrepresentation of items and I do not believe you guys would like to have this on your server(s). Is there any private information you wish to provide?
Where is proof that deception was involved though? Also, link 4 leads to an untraceable item so it was likely put on the SCM or moved to a private inventory.
I don't have the chats between the user and I as stated above, so no written proof can be obtained from him, but I believe that the continuation of the ploy onto another user is enough to warrant an inference of intent. And the item being put on scm or private inventory has no correlation to anything regarding this report
It makes it require extra effort to find out what the item was ;-) Because when you click on the link it won’t tell you as long as it’s not in a public inventory. That’s why I mentioned it. Anyways, not that important.
Hello @same2me, Unfortunately without any screenshots of the original agreement and chats between you, we're gonna have to decline this report.
