Yep, that about sums it up.
Counter Bag Simulator: Global Heist 3
lol every game copying csgo now? because I know TF2 has it but that is a Valve game and doesn't H1Z1 have a similar case and skin system as well?
If you're going to say it like that, then CS:GO copied TF2. TF2 had an economy long before trading was introduced in CS:GO, even long before the game was released.
TF2: 2007- initial trading update released on 2011, known as the Mannconomy Update
I really wish I could've started playing Team Fortress 2 earlier, just for the nostalgic feeling and to see all the updates go by
Looks like OVERKILL made it too where the Drills used to open safes/cases are now available as loot drops.
Was it TOO hard to make them keys? Now it just looks weird
Fits with paydays styles. Now they just need to make it so 100% of drills break so nothing can be opened.
The mannconomy update came out in 2010 - https://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Mann-Conomy_Update
What I meant was copy in terms of reskinning default weapons and making a lot of them. TF2 has had reskins for a while and I don't know which one had reskins first but I know CS:GO was the first one to really make them huge whereas TF2 just always had a few and most of them did not even stay expensive for that long. Also, in my opinion CS:GO made skins not as a method to make a sort of economy but just as a way to give players a way to "customize" their weapons like they did in 1.6 and source except now those reskins were an official part of the game that everyone could see and could show off not just a free download off of gamebanana. The whole trading and economy was just an aftereffect of that.
As I can see it, the skins in tf2 didn't really play a role in the whole "customization" thing. I feel they just served a part in the economy. I barely see anyone use reskins, let alone try to get any other than unusual. Exceptions for the Thunderbolts and whatever high tier soldier reskin there is.
Uh @Levi Heichou reskins - festives, botkillers both were out before csgo... And festives have been expensive for a long time
That's what I figured but in terms of the festives I guess you could argue that no game had a frequent release of reskins until CSGO. TF2's most frequent reskins were the festives and those were only released every winter. CSGO has new skins every few months.
I was really hoping for new weapons this update :/
It seemed like the best update to put new weapons in
Yeah i've bought doubles of every gun there is to buy. 1 for being loud and 1 for being quiet.
Not including all the dlcs tho
