With inactivity here I thought we can get this lively again, here is a video that I recently found and I thought it was pretty good. Is this guy a prick or was he justified in doing what he did? I thought he was justified but just wish he left the buckets instead of dishing out his revenge to a clerk who had nothing to do with the ticket.
I Think he's a giant asshole for doing it because a cop issued him the ticket not the clerk so she had nothing to do with it. Speeding tickets are stupid but the reason he got one was because of him.
All in all, the fine was paid, but making the clerk pick up his change and run it through a coin counter won't cause reform in the slightest. It will just add stress to another person's day, and the government still gets their "extortion money" in the end. I suppose it's a perspective thing. "Take that, person that works for the people, who tell the person who wrote the ticket that they need to meet a quota!"
I mean if you look at the big picture he WAS speeding, and that clerk shouldn't have cleaned up his saltiness.
He was speeding, therefore breaking the law. The cop issued him a ticket for speeding, doing his job. The clerk asked for payment, doing her job. He provided the payment in all coins, with notes attached complaining about extortion. Multiple employees had to pick up the coins and process it. Ultimately, he behaved like a child that didn't get what he wanted. When you speed, you take the chance of being pulled over, if you get a ticket, that's within the law. If he had hit someone, no one would defend his speeding. Instead, he chose to lash out at people who merely do what is asked of them. It's immature and quite stupid.
