There's 3 classes for Offense (Scout, Soldier, Pyro), 3 classes for Defense(Demoman, Heavy, Engineer), and 3 classes for Support(Medic, Sniper, Spy). Do you think they should spice up the game more by adding more classes in the future? Or are you satisfy if they just add more customization to each classes?
They should add another Aussie class, like an SAS agent (secret Australian service) who uses assault rifles and duel pistols. The twist is he has no melee.
I'll tell you what will spice TF2 up again: ADDING MORE WEAPONS. Pretty sure we hadn't had a weapon update(with stats, not reskins) since 2012. Or a new type of gamemode, like how they added MvM and Special Delivery.
No, I don't think they should add more classes. 9 classes is a good balance, with 3 for offense, defense and support. However, you can customise these classes to make different ones in a way. For example, Demoman to Demoknight. He is no longer an explosives specialist. He becomes a massive melee threat with different priorities, such as distraction and close up damage instead of ranged damage and destroying buildings such as sentries. What I do think they should add is more weapons, especially ones that can completely change the way the classes are used, as with my Demoknight example.
Oh man, that sounds so cool! If it was me I would add a subclass for Engineer, where he goes around controlling a mecha cause who doesn't love robots? And a new subclass for Medic that can actually heal himself, but can't make the others invincible.....Man if they do this it will be so cool!
I think a Mecha may be a little OP, also, Medic heals slowly each second anyway. But you get my idea. Also, sometimes there is nothing more satisfying than running in with a Chargin' Targe and a Half Zatoichi, and proceeding to behead multiple enemies whilst constantly healing yourself from the Zatoichi kills.
I do think they should add more weapons with unique stats... Like a wrench for the engie that prevents his sentry from doing anything until level 4. Once it is level for it becomes a walking level 3 sentry. Or something else would be a thing for the heavy that gives him increased sandvich regen at the cost of melee or something like that. I'm not really sure... They just need to add some new weapon stats.
What about a Minigun where you can use it normally, but instead of spinning up with Mouse 2, you instead blow 50 ammo in one shot to do a giant blast of 50 bullets? The setback to doing this is that your Heavy goes flying backwards.
Like a Force of Nature but for the heavy? Could be interesting... But I also thought of a Minigun that is actually a LMG. It has instant spin up but the downside is it has a clip size that takes about 5 seconds to reload.
Almost a reverse Force-A-Nature. No knockback on the enemy. Just sends you flying backwards. Could you imagine a Heavy on the cart shooting his minigun and then using his alt-fire to go flying backwards? Would be hilarious to watch.
Add more diversity to each class, Engi could use some love with new weapons and etc. And then restart the Class updates with New Meet the's. So basically do another update for each class (like they did years ago) and then also do a new "Meet The ____" part 2.
I don't see why they haven't added a new pda yet. They added the slot for it like 2 years ago. I'd like to see an update or mod that makes blu team the robots in all game modes or an option to enable it. That would be cool. A new rocket launcher for the soldier would be cool. Perhaps a one that only holds 1 in the chamber but has a larger explosion radius and damage. It also takes slightly longer to load. Like the fat boy from fallout.
A spy with longer invisibility, would that be too overpowered? Maybe a spy can trade longer invisibility for the ability to backstab. Or a scout that can actually be so fast that everything is super slow-mo! Nah......that wouldn't work for online games.
